Sophie Grace recently assisted Anchorage Marine Underwriting Agency Pty Limited (“Anchorage Marine”) to vary their Australian Financial Services Licence (“AFSL”) to include claims handling and settling. The AFSL variation application was lodged with ASIC in April 2021 and approved in September 2021.

Anchorage Marine provide professional expertise for the insurance of Pleasurecraft and Commercial Hulls operating within Australia. They deliver a range of marine insurance services and have been working with brokers, agents and vessel owners since the 1980s.

Ross Fullerton, the Director of Anchorage Marine, provided Sophie Grace with some kind words about his experience working with our team.

“We are very appreciative of the guidance and support received from Sophie Grace in completing the application for our AFSL extension to include Claims Handling and Settling. Anyone who has undertaken this task will be aware of how complicated the application process and documentation is. For our small company the guidance was essential and we are very pleased with the support from Sophie Grace via Sarah Murray and her assistants.”
