Welcome back to Meet the Team Monday. Today we introduce you to the Sophie Grace #OG…

If we had to describe Quynh in a few words, we would say she is:

  • caring;
  • thoughtful; and
  • friendly.

How did Quynh end up in law and at Sophie Grace?

As a child, Quynh always wanted to be a paediatrician. Fast forward to the future – she ended up completing a Bachelor of Medical Science from the University of New South Wales, a Master of Laws and Legal Practice from the University of Technology Sydney and a Master of Business Law from the University of Sydney.

“I moved to Sophie Grace for the supportive environment and exposure to clients I was not getting working at a large law firm.”

Fun Fact: Quynh was the first ever staff member to be employed at Sophie Grace. She has been busy raising a family for the last few years, but we thought it best we introduce her now. #BetterLateThanNever

Some of Quynh’s Responsibilities…

Quynh assists clients with their AFSL and ACL applications, variations and assists in the implementation of compliance reviews. She provides ongoing compliance support in the form of preparation of compliance reporting for Compliance Committees and Boards of Directors. Quynh also assists clients in the preparation of legal advice, commercial agreements and disclosure documents.

Quynh explains, “the most enjoyable aspects of my role are the quiet of the office, the support I receive from my colleagues and meeting so many interesting clients.”

Quynh is such a great support to the team at Sophie Grace and we are very lucky to have her.

Away from the office…

Quynh loves to spend quality time with her family. Her view is that having a work life balance is one of the most important keys to life, no matter what you do for a living.

Outside of the office, Quynh spends her time chasing after her 2 gorgeous sons. She often spends her free time eating too much with her extended family and helping her husband manage their medical practice.

If Quynh could go anywhere in the world she would…

“I would go anywhere with great food and even better company’.

Fun facts about Quynh…

Quynh has climbed Mt Fuji – what an amazing achievement.

Quynh’s four-year-old son recently taught her how to ride a bike.

Quynh is addicted to watching YouTube cooking videos. #YUM

What’s the best piece of advice Quynh has received?

“Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible”
