ACL Compliance Program



Australian Credit Licence (ACL) holders must comply with the general ongoing ACL requirements set by the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC), which aims to ensure that ACL holders are operating the credit business effectively and efficiently.

The templates in the ACL Compliance Program Package addresses the obligations imposed on ACL Holders by:

  • The National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009;
  • The Consumer Credit Protection Regulations 2010;
  • ASIC Regulatory Guides and relevant Australian Standards;
  • AML/CTF Act; and
  • ACL Conditions.

ACL holders can choose to purchase the ACL Compliance Program Package which contains all the procedures required for their licence or can purchase the individual policies and procedural documents that are needed to enhance existing compliance measures.

The templates need to be tailored to the ACL holder’s business to ensure it complies with regulatory requirements.

Available for both Credit Providers and Credit Assistance Providers.
