Responsibilities

Sophie is the Founder and Director of Sophie Grace Pty Ltd and Sophie Grace Legal Pty Ltd.  During the course of her career, Sophie has worked with some of Australia’s largest financial services organisations in compliance, legal and operational capacities. She established Sophie Grace Compliance and Legal in 2009 to fulfil the need for targeted legal and compliance advice for the financial services and credit industries.  Sophie’s in-depth knowledge of the financial services and credit sectors allows her to provide strategic advice to a range of clients, assisting them to establish and maintain successful businesses.

Sophie engages with a range of companies in the financial services industry, with a particular focus on OTC derivatives brokers, helping them to understand their regulatory obligations and providing tailored solutions while maintaining business practicalities. She is also Co-Founder and Director of TRAction Fintech, a provider of regulatory trade reporting solutions to financial services businesses dealing in OTC derivatives and other financial products which require transaction reporting.

Education

Sophie has a Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws from the University of Sydney, and has also spent a year studying finance at Boston University. Sophie is admitted as a solicitor in NSW.
